Selection Process

The selection process is conducted in three distinct phases. The first stage is the Preliminary Examination, which consists of two objective-type papers. Only those who qualify in this stage proceed to the Mains Examination, which is a descriptive test comprising multiple papers. The final stage is the Personality Test or Interview, where candidates are evaluated on their communication skills and administrative aptitude. The final merit list is prepared based on the combined scores of the Mains and the Interview.

Exam Pattern

The Preliminary Examination includes two papers: General Studies I and General Studies II. Each paper carries 200 marks and has a duration of 2 hours.
