Job Description

The State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) was conducted by the SLET Commission, Assam, on 15th March 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination are now keenly looking forward to the Assam SLET Result 2026, which will be declared soon on the official SLET (NE Region) website. The result will be accompanied by category-wise cut-off marks and individual candidate scores.

Each year, thousands of candidates in Assam attempt the State Level Eligibility Test. It is a mandatory test for those candidates who aspire to teach in colleges and universities across the state as Assistant Professors. To qualify for the eligibility test, candidates must pass both Paper 1 and Paper 2 individually. They must also score at least the category-wise minimum qualifying marks in both papers. Assam SLET Result 2026, which determines a candidate’s eligibility for the post, will be declared soon.

How to Apply

After the Commission publishes the result online, candidates must download it from the official website by following the steps discussed below:

  1. Open the internet browser and go to the official website of Assam SLET, https://sletne.org
  2. On the homepage, in the top left corner, you will notice the β€œResults” section.
  3. By clicking on the above link, you will get redirected to the Results window.
  4. In this window, enter your SLET roll number and click on the verification box. Then click on β€œSubmit.”
  5. Your Assam SLET Result 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download and save the PDF file on your device.

Qualifications

Candidates must aspire to teach in colleges and universities across the state as Assistant Professors. P.G Final/3rd and 4th Semester mark-sheet is required for certificate verification.
