Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (MPEZ), Jabalpur, has officially released a detailed advertisement for engagement of Graduate and Technical (Diploma) Apprentices (one year) under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at its Corporate Office Jabalpur, Regional Offices Jabalpur/Sagar/Rewa/Shahdol, and all Circles/Divisions across Madhya Pradesh. The notification includes complete details on trade-wise and category-wise vacancies, eligibility, selection process, stipend, application procedure, and job locations. Age is calculated as on 01-01-2026. Minimum age for all categories is 18 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is available for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwBD (Divyang) candidates.

Selection will be purely merit-based on aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma examination. No written test is conducted. A waiting list will be maintained and may be used to fill vacancies as they arise. The waiting list will remain valid for one year from the date of announcement of the first result.

Stage 1 - Screening & Merit List

Applications received up to the last date will be screened for eligibility as per the advertisement. Candidates will then be ranked in order of merit (descending order of aggregate percentage in B.E/B.Tech/B.Com/Diploma). In case of a tie in marks, the candidate who is older in age will be given priority. If required, selection will also be made from the waiting list.

Stage 2 - NATS Registration Approval Verification

The date of passing the qualifying examination on the NATS portal must not be more than 5 years before the date of NATS registration approval. If NATS registration is not approved, the candidate's selection will be cancelled. Candidates must also submit a Declaration Form in the prescribed format confirming that less than 5 years have passed since obtaining the Degree/Diploma (between 2022 and 2026).

Stage 3 - Medical Examination

Final selection of any eligible candidate is subject to a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the District Medical Officer (CMO). PwBD (Divyang) candidates must submit a Disability Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the authorized authority or District Medical Board. Reservation for PwBD is applicable as per State Government rules for non-hazardous trades; hazardous trades are excluded from PwBD reservation.
