To be considered eligible for the Rajasthan High Court Stenographer post, candidates must satisfy the following educational and technical criteria:

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have successfully completed their Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) in any stream from a recognized board.
• Language Proficiency: Applicants must be proficient in the Hindi language, written in the Devanagari script, and possess a fundamental knowledge of the dialects and cultural context of Rajasthan.
• Technical/Computer Proficiency: Possession of a recognized computer qualification is mandatory. Acceptable certifications include:
  • "O" Level or higher certification from DOEACC.
  • Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering from a recognized polytechnic or university.
  • Senior Secondary School Examination with Computer Science as an optional/elective subject.
  • Any other qualification recognized by the government as equivalent.

The selection process for the Rajasthan High Court Stenographer recruitment is structured to ensure that only the most proficient candidates are recruited for the judicial administration tasks. The process consists of three mandatory stages:

• 1. Skill Test/Stenography Test: This is the primary evaluative stage. It assesses the candidate's speed and precision. The test involves dictation followed by transcription on a computer. Candidates are tested on their ability to type out the dictated passage within a specified time. Group A (English) and Group B (Hindi) tests are conducted based on the candidate's choice, along with a mandatory Group C computer typing test.
• 2. Interview: Candidates who demonstrate sufficient accuracy in the Skill Test are invited to the interview stage. This stage focuses on assessing the candidate’s personality, verbal communication skills, and their overall aptitude for the duties expected of a Stenographer in the court setting.
• 3. Document Verification (DV): In the final stage, the credentials of the qualified candidates are verified. This ensures the authenticity of the educational and technical documents provided by the candidates. Originals must be presented for inspection. Failure to produce valid documents can result in disqualification.
