Eligible & Interested candidates must apply online only through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal.

  • Step 1: Visit the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal and register / login using valid credentials.
  • Step 2: Complete One-time Edit Facility for URN Profile, fill Common Application Form (CAF) with all personal, educational and experience details.
  • Step 3: Upload recent photograph, signature (live photo capture facility available) and all supporting documents (educational certificates, experience letters, category certificate etc.).
  • Step 4: Pay the application fee online (if applicable) through Debit/Credit Card, UPI or Internet Banking.
  • Step 5: Submit the application, note down the Universal Registration Number (URN) and take a printout of the finally submitted application for future reference.

  • ₹25/- for UR/OBC/EWS Male candidates (Debit/Credit Card / UPI / Internet Banking)
  • Nil for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community
  • Payment Method: Online only through Visa/Master/RuPay Card, UPI or Internet Banking

Age Limit

Varies as per post – 33 years (OBC), 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (UR) & 50 years (PwBD).

Selection Process

The selection on the basis of following steps:-

  • Shortlisting of applications based on essential qualifications and experience
  • Interview / Personality Test (as decided by UPSC)
